Buy Backlinks on Fiverr, Good or Bad?

Is Buying Backlinks on Fiverr Good or Bad?

If I buy backlinks on Fiverr, will it help? It would seem funny for a blog on a website that’s main purpose is to help rank your website with backlink SEO tactics to have this title, but it is a viable question. Many people are grasping for straws reading anything they can get their hands on from different SEO “guru’s”. The first thing I will tell you is to not believe everything you read on the internet. There is some great advice out there, but take it all with a grain of salt.  Even this blog, I am not Google, but I do believe I am one of the few who stay up to date with Google on a daily basis. I read what the “gurus” say, but if it doesn’t

I Met Him on the Internet

Many people are grasping for straws reading anything they can get their hands on from different SEO “guru’s”. The first thing I will tell you is to not believe everything you read on the internet. Pretty obvious, right? You would be surprised how many people I run into who read something and feel like they are now experts in this field. There is some great advice out there, but take it all with a grain of salt.  Even this blog, I am not Google, but I do believe I am one of the few who stay up to date with Google on a daily basis. I read what the “gurus” say, but if it doesn’t parallel with the information Google does put out, trash it!

Buy Backlinks or Backlink Blasts

With all that being said, let’s get to the point. Is Buying Backlink Blasts Good or Bad? I’m going to give you an irritating answer… yes and no. It completely depends on the source. Of course, the best way to achieve Domain Authority through the use of backlinks is to be an organic source from other High DA websites. The reality is that not many “everyday Joes” have that fortune. So what do you do? Many people look to fiverr. The problem with that is can you trust the person executing the”gig” to implement your backlink on the proper site?

I have written before on how important QUALITY backlinks are, and if you would like more information on what makes them QUALITY, read Why Buy Quality Backlinks?

Dun Dun Duuuun, Backlink Spam = Penalty

I have heard horror stories of marketing managers buying backlink blasts. Expecting their site would be ranking on the first page of Google within two months. That’s what they had read. That’s what the Fiverr gig said… but instead, they were penalized by Google’s Penguin update, and now their website is ghosted! They dove into it, ran a link search and come to find out their very reputable business was backlinked to THOUSANDS of inappropriate websites. Inappropriate in more ways than one. Some of the backlinks were on websites that had nothing to do with their industry, and some of the websites were… let’s just say extremely inappropriate. This is a nightmare to clean up in more ways than one.

Do it the RIGHT WAY, and RANK YOUR SITE

I would recommend avoiding this tactic of buying backlink blasts and trusting a stranger to blast “quality” content on “quality” sites about your business because you really just don’t know where they are going to backlink you. Roll up your sleeves and backlink the right way.  That is what this website is all about. We accept quality press releases about businesses. Write an article about your business and submit it. We will publish it for you on this site with quality backlinks to your website. The cost is $49 per press release, or if you would like a steady stream of current content monthly, you can sign up for $39 per month and receive one press release every month, and a monthly newsletter of proven SEO to do’s for your business.

May the Force Be With You

In the end, the choice is yours but choose wisely because Google is ever tightening its belt on blackhat tactics, and spammy backlink blasts are one of the BIG NO NOs.
